Treaty of Madrid

An agreement between the Republic of Krameria and the Kingdom of Spain concerning the friendship and mutual assistance of these two nations.

The Parties to this Treaty,

Desiring to consolidate on a permanent basis the Friendship and good correspondence which happily prevails between the two Parties,

Recognising that the maintenance of international peace and security requires absolute respect for the sovereign equality, political independence, and territorial boundaries of all sovereign states,

Mindful of the profound responsibilities borne by both states toward their respective citizens to ensure a stable, safe, and prosperous environment free from the threat of external interference or hostility,

Convinced that the explicit prohibition of subversive, destructive, or coercive actions constitutes a vital baseline for the preservation of bilateral trust and mutual benefit,

Resolved to establish a clear, binding, and permanent framework for peaceful coexistence and genuine cooperation founded upon mutual non-aggression and non-interference,

Having communicated to each other their full powers, found to be in good and due form, therefore have agreed as follows:

ARTICLE I.

The Parties shall maintain a firm and inviolable Peace and sincere Friendship between themselves, and between their respective Citizens, without exception of persons or places.

The Parties shall strictly respect each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The Parties shall practice mutual non-aggression.

The Parties shall not interfere in each other’s internal affairs.

The Parties shall actively endeavor for equality and cooperation for mutual benefit.
