§16.1 The party calling a witness shall conduct direct examination, limited to relevant facts and issues.

§16.2 Leading questions shall generally be prohibited during direct examination except where necessary to establish foundational matters.

§16.3 The opposing party shall have the right to cross-examine the witness, including:

• (a) testing credibility;
• (b) challenging inconsistencies;
• (c) introducing contradictory evidence.

§16.4 The Court may restrict questioning that is:

• (a) repetitive;
• (b) irrelevant;
• (c) abusive;
• (d) intended to harass or delay.

§16.5 The Court may permit re-examination on matters arising from cross-examination.
