(a) Employers shall grant all pregnant employees full paid leave for at least the second and third trimester of their pregnancy as well as for at least twenty-four (24) weeks after childbirth.
(b) Employers shall grant all new parents full paid leave for twenty-four (24) weeks after the birth of their child.
(c) Employers shall not alter pay, employment agreements, or contracts for the duration of the paid leave period described in Section II unless such a change was mutually agreed to prior to the start of said period.
(d) All provisions shall be taken as applying to both private and government workplaces.
(e) Benefits outlined in this act shall not be denied to any employee on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, transgender status, national origin, age, or genetic information.
