In any prosecution for an offense, it is an affirmative defense that the Defendant engaged in the unlawful conduct because he was induced or encouraged to do so by a government official or member of staff, or a person acting in cooperation with the same, seeking to obtain evidence against them for the purposes of pursuing a criminal prosecution, and the Defendant would not otherwise be disposed to commit such an offense.
