If a criminal case is ongoing against another person or entity for the same, or for related criminal conduct, and a plea agreement, settlement, or a decision to prosecute or decline to prosecute, is reliant on the pending case, or on the accused’s cooperation or testimony, any relevant statutes of limitations for criminal conduct shall be tolled for the duration of the pending case or cases.
