The payment of restitution may be ordered by a court in order to return the victim of a crime to their status prior to the unlawful conduct. Restitution may be required for direct financial losses due to theft, fraud, or any other similar offenses, or for indirect financial losses resulting from the offender’s conduct. Restitution may be ordered when the victim of a crime was the Republic of Krameria.
