The possible terms of imprisonment imposed for each class of Felonies shall be as follows:

(1) for a First-Degree Felony, the maximum term is life imprisonment, and the minimum term of imprisonment shall be fourteen (14) days;

(2) for a Second-Degree Felony, the term shall be fixed by the court and may not exceed forty-five (45) days, and the minimum term of imprisonment shall be seven (7) days;

(3) for a Third-Degree Felony, the term shall be fixed by the court, and may not exceed twenty-one (21) days; and,

(4) for a Fourth-Degree Felony, the term shall be fixed by the court, and may not exceed fourteen (14) days.
