In any criminal cases, the Republic of Krameria may not appeal a verdict of not guilty, but they may appeal any other judgments rendered by a trial court during a criminal proceeding which are adverse to the Republic, and any such appeals shall be filed immediately with the Supreme Court of the Republic of Krameria. Any such judgments rendered shall be considered final appealable orders, although any judgments made prior to a verdict being reached must be appealed prior to the issuance of a verdict. If any such judgments are appealed, the criminal proceeding shall be paused for the duration of the appellate proceedings.
