A person who indicates a desire to plead guilty or no contest to one or more criminal charges being brought against them must be advised that they are waiving their rights to a speedy, public, fair, and impartial trial, to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, to confront witnesses against them, and to be heard in court and testify in their own defense. They shall also be advised that upon a plea of guilty or no contest being submitted, a guilty verdict will be issued, and the court would sentence them on each of the counts to which they are pleading guilty or no contest.
