If an offender is found guilty of committing at least three (3) offenses which are either the same, or part of the same course of criminal conduct, within the span of seventy-two (72) hours, all such offenses shall have the Crime Spree Specification, and the offenses shall be escalated to one class higher than the standard classification of the offenses as established by law. Crime Spree Specifications may not be attached to or associated with the offenses included in sections 105.5 and 101.3 of this title.
