(a) Both owners and independent repair providers should have the means to repair products in the Kramerian Market.

(b) Many manufacturers create monopolies for repairing their products by making vital components not accessible to the broader market.

(c) Through these practices, manufacturers require owners to go to them to get their products repaired, allowing them to set prices without meaningful competition.

(d) Currently manufacturers may refuse access to vital components for independent repair providers thereby placing them at a competitive disadvantage.

(e) KRTRA establishes that all manufacturers must make accessible to the broader market (both owners and independent repair providers) components of their products as well as documentation and specialized tools.
