(a) A person is guilty of the offense of Coercion when they—

(1) harass;

(2) make threats of violence against;

(3) commit or threaten to commit a criminal offense against;

(4) defame or threaten to defame;

(5) expose or threaten to expose any information which would tend to subject to hatred, contempt, or ridicule, or damage the repute of;

(6) threaten the job or livelihood of; or,

(7) expose or threaten to expose any private information about,

any person with the intent to force them, or another person, to commit a criminal offense.

(b) Coercion is a Second-Degree Felony.
