(a) A person is guilty of the offense of Evasion when they knowingly evade, circumvent, attempt to evade, or attempt to circumvent a lawful punishment or judgment of a court, or when they flee the Republic of Krameria in order to evade any criminal prosecution or investigation, or civil litigation against them.

(b) Except as otherwise provided in this section, Evasion is a First-Degree Misdemeanor.

(c) If the offense of Evasion is committed through the embezzlement, transfer, or obfuscation of personal or business funds, or through an individual leaving the server, in order to avoid a fine or judgment ordered by a court, the offense shall be enhanced, and it is a Third-Degree Felony. Additionally, government officials and members of staff shall make all efforts to recover any such funds for the payment of such a fine or judgment.

(d) If the offense of Evasion is committed by fleeing the Republic of Krameria in order to evade a criminal prosecution or investigation, and the person knows or has reason to know that they have been charged with a felony offense or are being investigated for committing such, the offense shall be enhanced, and it is a Third-Degree Felony.

(e) If the offense of Evasion is committed through the use of alternate accounts from individuals currently serving a sentence, or from individuals who had previously been executed in accordance with the law, the offense shall be enhanced, and it is a Second-Degree Felony.

(f) Any sentences imposed for Evasion shall run consecutive to any other sentences imposed for other offenses, subject to law.
