(a) A person is guilty of the offense of Escape when they escape from custody or confinement effected pursuant to a court’s judgment, or pursuant to the actions of government officials or members of staff in accordance with the laws and Constitution of the Republic of Krameria.

(b) Except as otherwise provided in this section, Escape is a First-Degree Misdemeanor.

(c) If the offense of Escape was committed by a person who has been arrested for, charged with, or convicted of a felony, the offense shall be enhanced, and it is a Third-Degree Felony.

(d) Any sentences imposed for Escape shall run consecutive to any other sentences imposed for other offenses.
