(a) A person is guilty of misprision of a criminal offense when they, while under the jurisdiction of the Republic, and having knowledge of the commission of, conspiracy to commit, or an attempt to commit any Capital Offense or Felony, conceal their knowledge of the offense and do not disclose their knowledge of the offense to the President, Attorney General, a judge, or any law enforcement or other government official.

(b) Misprision of a criminal offense shall constitute an offense one degree less severe in classification to the criminal offense which they failed to report.
